Plot
Claire Beauchamp Randall, a nurse in World War II, is mysteriously transported back in time to Scotland in 1743. There, she encounters a dashing Highland warrior and is drawn into an epic rebellion. Moore (the show’s showrunner), the crew decided to keep the Gaelic words instead of translating them into English. This kept the narration in the first person, showing Claire’s inability to understand Gaelic.

The idea was suggested by producer David Brown, who said he had seen something similar in Skin Deep (1998), a foreign alternative film starring actor and singer Gustavo Goulart. ; An American expression that did not come into use until the 19th century. But my God, the start of season 3 was a drag
I discovered this series late, and I managed to binge watch it all the way through season 7A in a month. The first 2 seasons feel like a completely different series, it keeps me hooked and craving another episode. I know a lot of people don’t like Richard, but man, I love him as Roger, he just brings realism to the character for me. Sophie, however, comes across as an acting student trying too hard to play a spoiled child.
Really the wrong actress for the role
Her scenes are really painful to watch and there’s no chemistry between her and Richard, and the man whose idea was that awful accent?
