Tony is wasting away at home. His controlling parents want to protect him mainly because he glows when he takes off his mask and gloves. But his new girlfriend Shelly doesn’t seem to mind at all, as their house is shrouded in darkness. I would recommend watching it in the original language.The film is about our inner light and how it changes the people around us. It is set in a dreamy town during the snow season and the holidays. Abstract and colorful, it draws the attention of adults and children alike.The beautifully animated characters and world give the film a dreamlike feel. The plot is simple and pretty, slow at times, and focuses on the visual and audio experience. I would rate it even higher, but at its core it is still an animated film suitable for children.
