This film has some of the best acting I’ve ever seen in a Norwegian film

Plot

Armand, a 6-year-old boy, is accused of crossing boundaries against his best friend in elementary school. Norway’s official submission for the “Best International Feature Film” category at the 97th Academy Awards in 2025.

If you want an unpredictable film, watch this

If you want to see amazingly good acting, watch this film. The story is really compelling and the use of a mundane setting, such as a school for a parent conference, creates a fantastic stage for the viewer to observe and immerse themselves in this class play.

I can’t wait to follow her career

Renate Reinsve shows us a level of acting that I don’t want to compare to anyone at the moment. I have to admit, after watching the film “the worst person in the world” I had other thoughts, but I think for me that film missed the mark, as the story tells, I just didn’t like it.

But now I’ve seen her in a movie I like, and I see what she’s capable of
